What to Feed Your Jersey Wooly Rabbit

Your Jersey Wooly rabbit’s diet should include quality hay and/or orchid grass, along with commercial pellets, which are well balanced. There are a number of manufactures so read labels to see which is best for your rabbit. To help prevent wool block, add papaya. Make sure your Jersey Wooly is getting a well balanced diet that includes some or all of the following fresh fruits and vegetables. Feed less fruits than vegetables because they are filled with sugar that can cause your rabbit to become overweight:

·         Cilantro

·         Romaine Lettuce

·         Collard Greens

·         Pears

·         Papaya

·         Parsley

·         Blueberries

·         Strawberries

·         Plums

You need to be sure your rabbit has fresh water every day. Give your Jersey Wooly rabbit untreated willow wood as a chew treat. It will keep him happy.
